John has leveraged his extensive executive management and consulting experience to serve clients in both traditional consulting roles and executive interim management positions. John's flexibility in assignment engagements has given Converge Media the unique opportunity to work in operational roles with large companies going through difficult bankruptcy proceedings along with digital start-ups going through tremendous growing pains. John's unique executive and consulting experience really gives Converge Media a competitive advantage. Converge Media can walk into seemingly impossible situations and impact things immediately. Recently, Converge Media and Martin were engaged to serve as Executive Vice President of SMS Assist, a Pritzker Group portfolio company. The marketing mission was to re-image a multisite facility maintenance company into an innovative mobile and cloud-based technology company. The SMS Assist marketing makeover contributed greatly to their valuation tripling the last three years, while joining the distinguished "Unicorn" status with a valuation of a billion dollars.

Since 2011, John and the Converge Media team have been working with city governments on leveraging their existing assets in innovative and creative ways to generate new revenue streams.
