Zach Martin's diverse background in a number of fields, including media, sports operations and real estate has given him a large wealth of knowledge.
Before graduating from Miami (OH) University in 2007, Martin interned at WBBM-FM (B96) and 670-AM (The Score). After graduation, he took a job with CBRE, training to be an Industrial Broker. Martin joined the Chicago Cubs and Sun-Times News Group, writing for Chicago’s NL club and local high school sports, respectively. His works has also been featured on Deadspin, SB Nation Chicago, the Vine Line (The Official Magazine of the Chicago Cubs), ChicagoNow, The Athletic and YourSeason.com, among others.
As a Converge Media Project Director, Zach was instrumental to the development of Municipal Marketing program, assisting in the creation of revenue generating ideas and business plans, along with the Municipal Marketing presentations. In addition, Zach has been the principle editor of the Converge Media website. He will be responsible for assisting in field research, analysis of comparable markets & generating final reports. He is proficient in website development, content, podcasting, video production and other technical tools like SEO, social media, HTML and WordPress, to name a few. Zach is our go-to-person for special reports, presentations and deliverables.
